I was thinking that they non blog update was because you were busy enjoying your first Summer back.

I so know what you mean, I think it's so different if you move country as a single person or a couple, but to move country as a family is a whole new ball game and in someways is higher than death as you are alive still! lol!

We had so much stuff happen to us since we moved 3 years ago and when you get over taking it personally... we had known criminals let out of prison early in the uk to only during their sentence time commit a multi million pound fraud in our home that they "rented", (didn't pay a penny) in fact they trashed our loved home and devalued it as afterwards the neighbourhood gossiped about the going on's in our home for months after etc.... We had death of a parent and a double recession!

Amongst lots of other things that happened, this year I had a throat tumor which was luckily benign...

Anyway, my point being is that even if you move country as a family, if everyone is able bodied it's different again from if you have a special one to look after.

It's been 3 years and I don't feel 100% organized and get that swimming feeling too. My ABR hours dropped off as a result so I ended up taking most of the Summer off as I needed to recover physically from the operation. OK Oatie isn't where he would have been if I kept up my hours but ...

I just love how you sum things up, and I so agree, it's so important to take time for yourself. I love cake decorating and I love sewing, skating, swimming and running. (I did love gardening in the UK, but here the season is short lol!)

When Oatie is at Pre-school, It's right across from the leisure centre and I go there and swim and run and then pick him up,... i do feel a bit bad on occasion that I am not catching up on the chores.... but then at the same time, like you said, things carry on...

My daughter and older son still asks after Matthew each time we got for an ABR treatment, our friend Matthew there?

If you ever want to chat, even if it's just to rant or offload you can send me an email, I'm there for you,

Love your friend,

Mel
xxxOatie - IWillSkate on Icehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01239644838455889910noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9016956273397952881.post-15417969998771802442011-09-03T08:27:46.868-07:002011-09-03T08:27:46.868-07:00Good for you.
